O.P.P. brought into police probe

Halton Hills - Georgetown - Detective Sergeant Cousens of Georgetown's Halton Regional Police Services confirmed today, Fraud Bureau Detectives have concluded their probe into the nine acre land swap deal between The Town of Halton Hills and the North Halton Golf & Country Club  as well, their investigative probe into the departure of ex town C.A.O. Andrews.

 

No comment could be given at this time, except; the Halton Regional Police Services Fraud Bureau's findings has been forwarded to the Ontario Provincial Police Anti-rackets division.

The Anti-Rackets Section is mandated to investigate enterprise crimes and to provide investigative assistance to Municipal Police Services in Ontario and to Ontario Provincial Ministries facing complex fraud investigations.
